"Israel Update": MIKE'S VISIT TO DAMASCUS

"Accompanied by a Turkish driver and two lightly armed escorts, Mike had the opportunity to see firsthand what post-Assad Syria is like. The country was devastated. The scenes of poverty and destruction are heart wrenching. At one-point Mike's escort had to change the route to evade an attack by Israel.

"Meanwhile in Israel chief of staff Herzi Halevi seems intent on evading a serious enquiry in the disastrous failure of the army under his command on the fateful Shabbat of October 7."

A New Era in Israel’s Neighborhood, with David Daoud

"Hamas started the war against Israel long before 10/7. But Israel’s response since that date has delivered extraordinary blows to Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, and the Iranian government. Iran’s proxy Bashar Assad has fallen to Turkish-supported, ISIS-aligned HTS. Russia has been removing military assets from Syria, while the US have been striking ISIS bases and Israel takes out Syrian weapons depots, including chemical weapons sites.

The Tectonic Shifts in the Middle East As President Trump Assumes Power

"As the forces of the IDF have decisively crippled Hezbollah in Lebanon, and as Damascus falls from the Iranian-backed regime of Bashar al-Assad to the Turkish-backed forces of Mohammad al-Jolani, with his background in Jabhat al-Nusra, (Al Qaeda in the Levant) and ISIS, how will Iran respond? How is President Recep Tayyip Erdogan responding to this new Syria? What are his new ambitions? Is Iran, which has met with major defeats on their proxy battlefields, lurching toward nuclear breakout? What could Israel do to prevent this? What should the United States and the West do?
